A bit about Wild Venison...

Meat from deer has been an important component of the human diet since prehistoric times. In fact, the term venison (from the Latin venari – to hunt) originally referred to meat from any wild animal.

Venison is a very lean and tasty alternative to beef, pork and lamb. It is high in protein but very low in cholesterol and fat (with virtually no saturated fatty acids). Venison also contains higher levels of iron than any other red meat.

Wild venison is even better as it is naturally free range and so contains no added substances sometimes found in farmed meat. Drug and Medicine Free - NO steroids, NO anti-biotics. Completely natural

In summary, Roe Deer meat is a lean, nutrient-dense food choice that is high in protein and low in fat. It’s packed with essential vitamins and minerals, making it a healthy addition to a balanced diet. Enjoy the taste of the wild with Roe Deer meat!

A bit about our Processing Facility

FSA Seal of approval……..

All our harvested wild deer carcasses are stored/hung at specific temperatures to age and condition the carcass for flavour and tenderness.  The carcasses are then skinned and graded before being inspected by a Food Standards Agency Vet who when satisfied will stamp the carcass with the UK seal of approval.

All our wild deer carcasses have full provenance……the estate, the date…..when inspected and when butchered and packed.  We are one of the few that offer from field to fork. Carcasses are hung for 7-10 days before being skinned, inspected by FSA Vets and UK stamped.  They are then processed, butchered and vacuum packed for ultimate freshness before being frozen.  This guarantees that every box will arrive still frozen ready to be either defrosted straight away or stored in the freezer.
